Will Gibeaut, son of Charles and Sophia Gibeaut, was born in Woodland Township on October 2, 1883, and passed away late Sunday afternoon, January 27, 1963, at the age of 79 years, three months and 25 days, at the home of his daughter, Norma, where he had resided for the past three years.
On February 23, 1910 he was united in marriage to Anna Mosing of the Bethel vicinity, who preceded him in death on June 4, 1940.
With the exception of two years spent in LaValle and four years in Wonewoc, his entire life was spent in the Town of Woodland.
He was a regular church attendant and had a record of 24 years perfect Sunday School Attendance with the exception of two Sundays when he had strep throat and one Sunday of deep snow.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 30, 1963 at 1:30 in the Valton Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. Ard Blomberg officiating. Rev. and Mrs. Clarence Titus of Gillingham, Wis., sang, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "His Eye is On The Sparrow." Pallbearers were: Harry Jordon, Archie Shore, Kenneth Gibeaut, Donald Woolever, Dale Mortimer and Charles Kredl.
Mr. Gibeaut is survived by his daughter, Norma; son-in-law, John Mortimer; one sister, Mrs. Ervin Grover of Reedsburg' one brother, Jesse, of Ironton; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, including two little girls, Debbie and Sandy Woolever, whom he dearly loved.

Holt of Belvidere, Ill.; Mrs. Walter Haroldson of Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Gibeaut, Garrith Gibeaut and Maurice Gibeaut of Milwaukee; Mrs. Everall Rockhill of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Woolever of Waterloo; Mrs. Joe Yunger and children of Madison; Mrs. Mary Gibeaut and son, Obed, of Beloit; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mortimer of Dodgeville; Rufus Owens of Baraboo; other relatives and friends form Reedsburg, Cazenovia, Hillsboro, Wonewoc and the surrounding area.
