Ester A. Bever
KAUKAUNA - Esther Ann Bever, 91, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, went with her heavenly angel on March 14, 2005, at St. Pauk Home in Kaukauna.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 Lourdes Drive, with the Rev. Harry Berryman officiating.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church
A memorial fund hs been established for St. Paul Elder Services.
Brettschnider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Home of Appleton is assisting the family with arrengements.
Esther was born Feb. 4, 1914, in Marshfield, the daughter of Michael and Anna (Markee) Baltus. She was united in marriage to Ralph Bever on Jan. 10, 1935, sharing nearly 49 years together before his death on Dec. 25, 1983. Esther and Ralph operated several businesses throughout Wisconsin before retiring in 1979. Esther was very proud that she lived more years than her mother and any of her siblings. She was the last of her generation.
She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, LuAnn (Hubert) Rebman of Appleton and their children, Michael (Mary) Rebman, Mark (Wendy) Rebman, Marie (Jeff) Evensen and Rick Rebman, and Gloria Thompson of Manitowoc and her children, Nicole Klein, Shane (Rose) Thompson and Tanya Smaxwell; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; a sister-in-law, Ruby Bever; nieces, nephews; and other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Esther was preceded in death by five brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Oliver Thompson.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Paul Home. Your loving care of our mother was greatly appreciated.
